A word from Tanis:
“I grew up in Richlands, Virginia and started working for a Nationwide Insurance agent in 1985 as an office assistant, later becoming a licensed agent. I moved to Newport News in 1990 and continued to work as a licensed agent for two different Nationwide agents until I purchased my current agency in 2003. I live in Yorktown, Virginia with my beautiful family–a son and a daughter who continue to amaze me daily.
